State
of Oklahoma Initiates Two-County Pilot of OnSite ERT™
Ann Arbor, MI -- January 28, 2009 -- ERT Systems, LLC, a leading
provider of automated resource tracking systems for first responders,
has announced that Murray and Garvin counties in Oklahoma will participate
in a pilot program, selecting OnSite ERT as their primary accountability
solution. Deploying OnSite ERT county-wide will promote interoperability
between departments, streamlining mutual-aid response and post-incident
reporting, and provide a range of additional benefits from performance
analysis to payroll reporting.
The two counties will use OnSite ERT to automatically track and
locate firefighters and equipment when deployed at emergency events
using its wireless ID tags, portable receivers, and the PAR incident
command software. Combined, the counties represent about 600 firefighters
serving a population of 40,000 across 1,200 square miles.
